Many people are led to believe that paint and primer in one is all you need to go over any surface. That is totally wrong. There are specific primers for different surfaces. Primer sealers are different than undercoaters. We have specific primers for drywall, wood, cedar tanning, water stains, varnish and glossy surfaces, nicotine and smoke damage, and galvanize metal. ADHERO PLUS (290)

MF
Description: Super adherent, 100% acrylic primer. Use this primer over varnish, flat and high gloss ceramic, aluminum, panelling, fiber glass, melamine, alkyd paint and on galvanized metal. This primer gives exceptional results on drywall and drywall compounds, plaster, cement blocks, plywood, metal, bricks and stones, varnish, concrete, vinyl siding and pre-painted steel. Once primed, these surfaces can be painted. Adhero can be tinted to help with colour coverage.

PROLINE BLUE LABEL PRIMER (6070)

MF
This latex acrylic primer sealer is great for sealing new drywall and repairing areas to obtain an even luster when applying the top coat. In our opinion, this product is the best primer for drywall because it will seal extremely well to facilitate your finish coat and give you much better coverage. The Proline Primer has a very good opacity that is easy to sand once dry, without overloading the sandpaper.

PORTICO (270)

MF
The portico primer can be used on indoor and outdoor surfaces to add an undercoat of supreme quality. It is made with 100% acrylic resin. It provides ideal hiding power for hard-to-cover paint colours. It is also an excellent sealer that delays mildew proliferation.

B-I-N®

ZINSSER
B-I-N® is the ultimate shellac-based primer, sealer and stain killer. Will adhere to the toughest of stains and permanently block odours. Use this primer to seal bleeding knots and sap streaks. It even works on water stains, fungal degradation, nicotine, oil stains and marker pens. It is the best primer to seal animal smells. It dries in only 15 minutes and can be recoated in only 45 minutes!

COVER-STAIN®

ZINSSER
Cover-Stain is an oil-based primer that has great hiding power for indoors and outdoors. It will penetrate and seal wood. It also blocks cedar and redwood bleeding, and it seals water, smoke and nicotine stains.

ZINSSER
Odorless is an oil-based stain blocker, without the solvent odor! With low VOC, this primer was specifically designed to seal though stains indoors. It seals stains from water, fire and smoke damage when odour is a concern. It can also be used as a ceiling flat finish; it’s ideal for stucco ceilings.

TRIM MAGIC®

X-I-M®
TRIM MAGIC® is just what you need to fill and prepare all trim and frames that have excessive cracks and peeling. It has a formula that seals leaks and cracks instantly with a clear satin finish. It is a low-VOC formula, and you must use a latex topcoat afterwards.

PPG PAINTS®
This is an interior latex primer with low VOC and low odor. Offers excellent sealing properties, and it’s recommended to be used on interior wallboard and drywall surfaces. It provides a uniform finish with easy application.

ADHERO 297-0

AKLYD

Alkyd emulsion universal undercoat for indoor and outdoor use. It can be applied directly to alkyd paints, metals, as well as ferrous metals, ceramics, melamine, wood (except wood that is rich in tannin, like cedar and redwood), drywall, bricks, plaster, stucco, concrete and can, be recoated after only 4 hours. Adhero Hybrid 297 is recommended for water stains on acoustic tiles, common household stains (coffee, pencil, wine). Given the diversity of the stains, we suggest applying two coats for an optimal result.

BONDING PRIMER-CLOVERDALE 

CLOVERDALE

An Interior/Exterior Waterborne Acrylic Bonding Primer with excellent adhesion and lower odour than other quick drying primers for hard, non porous surfaces. This product features high hiding properties and is ideal where drastic colour change is required. Approved under the Master Painter's Institute under category #17.

ODOR KILLING

Zinsser Odor Killing Primer is a low odor water-based primer that kills existing odors on interior surfaces. It applies white and dries fast to a clear, low sheen finish to permanently seal in odors. MOULD STOP 

ZINSSER

Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a water-based EPA registered fungicidal protective coating that can be used to paint over and kill all existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor causing bacteria and any other fungal organisms. It prevents the growth of mold, mildew and other fungal organisms on the paint film and is for use on non-porous interior and exterior surfaces. Kills existing mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria.

PRIME IT 

PRIME-IT

Prime-it is an acrylic primer that performs like sandpaper and sealer all in one. It is the only universal primer that goes on virtually any surface and under virtually any paint.
